About me…
“My name is Vasylyna Volynets, and I am a photographer working under the pseudonym 'Pylypivna'. This is not just my patronymic — it’s a part of my soul and a connection to my roots. I am a Ukrainian who was forced to emigrate to Canada due to the war, and this journey has only strengthened my love for art.
Photography is my element. The path to it has been long and difficult, with many life challenges along the way. But each hardship has only made me more certain that I am on the right path. Currently, I work in all types of photography — from portraits to landscapes, from conceptual shoots to reportage. However, over time, I aim to focus on one or two themes that truly reflect my vision.
Art is my life. In 2020, I published my first collection of poetry, and now I plan to translate it and publish it in Canada. But this time, I will add my unique touch — illustrations made from my own photographs, which will capture the mood and emotions of each poem.
I invite you to become a part of my art, where every shot is not just an image, but a story I want to tell with you ✨.”
